Request A Food Pail!

A food pail for scraps is a handy container designed for collecting leftover food items like fruit peels, vegetable trimmings, and eggshells. It's built to keep odors contained and pests away, usually with a well-fitting lid. People use these pails at home or in kitchens to gather organic waste before composting!

Once your pail is full, you can drop it off at the Vermont Square Community Garden for composting! The food scraps are used to turn into nutrient-rich compost for gardening, which is a great way to contribute to sustainability, practice greener living, and help nourish our community garden's plants naturally!
